Effie is an avid healthcare consultant, trainer, speaker, advisor and certified professional coach. She has extensive experience spanning over Fourteen years in healthcare financing and management with focus on the insurance industry where she has served in leadership and management capacities with leading insurance companies, her latter stint was with Britam General Insurance as Head of Medical Claims and Case Management. Her expertise has seen her serve at the industry level as a member of the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) medical committee that has spearheaded policy formulation and interventions for medical insurance companies in Kenya. She has also served in other committees such as Kenya Health Federation and has recently joined SPARC by AMREF. Effie is passionate about people transformation and lives out her passion through health education training, corporate training, Coaching and Consultancy services. As an accomplished trainer and coach she uses this opportunity to be a health change catalyst to drive conversations on necessity for inner growth and change for holistic wellbeing. Effie’s passion to drive change and assist individuals and organizations in finding their true north is orchestrated in the interactive facilitation and delivery of training sessions. Effie holds an MBA in Health Management and Leadership from United States International University (USIU), a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Nairobi, a post graduate diploma in Health Care Management from Strathmore Business School, Certified trainer from Institute of Human resource, Life leadership coaching from Strategic cell in partnership with Regent University, Diploma in Insurance (AIIK) and a diploma in Nursing. She is a member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya and the Nursing Council of Kenya . Her values of excellence, authenticity, sustainability and impact are reflected in her brand, work and daily engagements. She lives in Nairobi with her family and enjoys biking, singing and raising their teen and tots.
